William Broeksmit – A 58-year-old former senior executive at Deutsche Bank AG was found dead on January 26 in his home after an apparent suicide by hanging in South Kensington in central London.

Karl Slym – The next day, January 27, Tata Motors managing director, a 51-year-old British national, was found dead on the fourth floor of the Shangri-La hotel in Bangkok. Police said he could have committed suicide.

Gabriel Magee – Another tragic incident occurred on January 28, when the 39-year-old vice president in technology operation at JP Morgan Chase & Co., died after falling from the roof of the 33-floor building of its European headquarters in London.

Mike Dueker – A 50-year-old missing since January 29, and who had forecast financial performance at Russell Investment since 2008, was found dead close to the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in Washington State.
